As we all know this Sunday is Mother's Day here in the USA. So in honor of my mother I thought I would post a few photos of her. Her name was Mary, she was the youngest of four children. She was born and raised in England. She met my dad while he was stationed in England, they married there. He brought her back to Texas, where they made their home. They were married over fifty years. My mother died in 2001 after battling cancer for eight months. She was a loving and giving woman. She worked in the public and sometimes it seemed that everyone knew her. It was hard to walk through a store with her, because we were constantly being stop with "Hello Mary". Up until her illness she was a bundle of energy and was always helping people in any way she could. I miss her very much!! I would say, if you mother is still with you give her a big hug and tell her how much she means to you!!!

Dear Sweet Sister in Christ,
Thank you so much Donna for stopping by to see me and becoming a friend and follower of my blog.
I am soooo very sorry your mother is not here for you to hug. I told a friend that her mother was also in heaven I believed my Amy had met them and God drew us together. My mother is 75 years old and works 4, 12 hour shifts a week as a heart monitor.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the wedding postcards you bought...I am just a romantic and love old photographs...and the buttons...I had to laugh...wink...wink because I also pray over a sale or thrift shop...sometimes I am made fun of because I pray over everything
I am going to read some more of your blog and look forward to getting to know you.
Have A Sugar Sweet Day
Hugs

Wonderful pictures of your Mom., I am sure you treasure them as you do your memories.
I have had a lot of compliments on my Anne of Green Gables header, She has a lot of fans! I have it on VHS too. I need to break down and get the DVD version as my tapes are beginning to show wear and tear when I play them.
Your craft cottage sounds lovely, I will have to scroll through and see if I can find some interior photos. Thanks for coming by and entering my giveaway and have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
Lovely photos, you must miss your Mum a lot.
